The owner of Rjukan Adventure is Andreas Spak, who has ice climbed for 18 years and has been guiding the last 10 years. Which means you are in the good hands of a Pro.

Ice climbing is an exciting, intensed sport where it takes focus, accuracy and good technic to improve your skills to become a better ice climber. We recommend to take a basic course if you never tried ice climbing before, because it's extremely fun. We can also offer deeper knowledge in advanced courses if you already has been ice climbed for a while.

If you have a technical mountain you want to alpine climb, a intro course with us will make the difference for success. You will feel much more prepared for the job after a few days ice climbing with us.

It is pretty common that even regular alpine climbers using a bad technic when it comes to cilmb steep ice/snow. So even if you find yourself to be a regular alpine climber it can pay off big time to take some ice climbing lessons to improve your technic. You will see a huge difference and will be able to climb much harder and safer next time you do steep ice on your mountain.

We are offering basic courses and more advanced courses, so we can assure that there are something for everyone in our program.
