"I picked this combo to get the chance to do something more than just Island Peak. I can really recommend the combination because Island Peak is a bit easier and was a good preparation to Lobuche which is more exposed and different climbers there.
I have only positive things to say both about the Nepalese and the Swedish part of Adventure Lovers. Everything worked just perfect..."/Magnus Bredin

"This was my second trip with Adventure Lovers to Nepal and the Himalayas. This time it was Ama Dablam as my goal. Dream of my dreams.
I chosed Adventure Lovers to arrange my trip because everything worked out perfect the first time and I wanted experienced and skilled guides on the mountain. This time was no exception and everything, and I really mean everything worked perfectly..."/Magnus N

Klättring Lobuche

Lobuche Peak climbing expedition
This climbing expedition is a technically challenging adventure which involves ice climbing and high camp in the snow. The expedition starts with an acclimatization trek to Mt Everest Base camp and Kala Pathar. After that we will trek to Lobuche Base camp. We will stay in Base camp a few days to gain strength and to repeat climbing techniques.
We are climbing Lobuche East. That path is one of the more challenging on the trekking peaks in the Himalayas and the mountain is 6.119 meters high. The top section contains of several small peaks and the climbing on the top ridge involves steeper snow-and ice climbing.
We take the way over the south ridge; there we set up our high camp. We aim to summit the east summit, which for us marks the top we have permit to climb. The main top is more difficult to reach and it takes deeper climbing experience to manage that. You should have previous alpine climbing experience to join this climb even if it is not mandatory. Of course it is recommended that you join our pre-trip weekend.
Your physical health should be very good to be able to enjoy a challenging climbing expedition. From Lobuche summit you will have excellent views over Everest, Nuptse, Pumori, Lhotse and Ama Dablam.
