Mount Everest climbing expedition South East route from Nepal - Program

Day 1 Departure Stockholm

Day 2 Arrival Kathmandu

Day 3 Half day sightseeing to Hindu temple and a Buddhist monastery Briefing on the climb and control of your gear. Groupdinner

Day 4 Flying to Lukla (2800m)

Day 5 Trek to Namche (3440m)

Day 6 Rest and acclimatization in Namche. Trek to Sherpa museum.

Day 7 Acclimatization day. Visit to Thame and a local monestary.

Day 8 Trek to Debouche (3700m). We staying in Tyangboche and visit the monestary.

Day 9 Before leaving Deboche, we will visit Deboche's Nunnery

Day 10 Rest and acclimatization. We will trek to Chukug valley.

Day 11 Trek to Dzongla

Please note: Here is a voluntary program, if you prefer to go directly to Mount Everest Base camp you just accompany our staff

Day 12 When we are sure that everyone is healthy and acclimatized we will continue to Cho La Base camp where we will start our training. From breakfast to afternoon.

Day 13 -14 Training on The Cho La glacier.

Day 15 Rest and preparing for nexts days trek to Lobuche Base camp.

Day 16 Trek to Lobuche Base camp (5500m)

Day 17 We climb to Advanced Base camp (5900m). We set camp and handing out kitchen and fuel so you can prepare your own dinner and melt snow to drink. Briefing before summit bid.

Day 18 We will start climbing at 4 am to Lobuche summit (6119m). After summit Lobuche our kitchen staff has hot lunch and drinks ready. We stay in Base camp over night.

Day 19 Trek to Lobuche, where we will sleep in a lodge (4930m)

Day 20 Trek to Mount Everest Base camp. Our staff has already set camp and are welcoming you with hot lunch.

Day 21-36 We are arriving to Everest Base camp. The next following three weeks we will use for getting used to the Khumbu Icefall and climb and acclimatize up to camp 3.

Day 37-39 We are back down to Base camp for rest and recreation before our summit bid. Alternative is to trek down to Dingboche to fill your lungs and body with thicker oxygen.

Day 40-64 We are climbing through the icefall up to camp 2 and 3. We will climb further up to camp 4 and South Col (7920m). Where we will set our highest camp. Our summit days are between 12-19 of May but can of course vary due to weather and health. We might have to climb down to Base camp to wait for a window to try for the summit.

Day 65 Everyone gathering up in Base camp.

Day 66-68 Trek to Namche via Dingboche.

Day 69 Trek to Lukla.

Day 70 Fly to Kathmandu

Day 71 Kathmandu

Day 72 Departure home
